8 Reasons to Build a Website for Your Small Business

All companies should have a website for there small business. They are the best way to save money, and increase sales.

Here are 8 reasons why every company should have a small business:

  1. Answer Questions Before Customers Ask - Do you often get the same questions from customers, over and over again? One of the benefits of having a website for your small business is that you can answer those questions by creating a FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions) page. By doing this you save your customers a phone a call, and your self time, because you can let them find out for themselves, by doing a quick search on your site.
  2. 24/7 Sales - You can keep your website running both day and night. Customers will be able to purchase your products any time of the day, and on any days including weekends and holidays.
  3. Reach a Global Market - With the internet you can easily reach customers from any part of the world. Imagine being able to sell your product or service, in any state, or country. You could reach people in Canada, Mexico, United States, Australia, England, Japan, etc.
  4. Cheap Advertising - If people are looking for a product, or service online, they will likely do a search on Google, or Yahoo!. Having a website (and promoting it) will allow people, who are looking for the exact product that you offer, be able to find your company. They'll likely buy your product, since that's what they are looking for.
  5. No More Printing Costs - You can publish all of your information, on your website. Instead of having to spend money on printing brochures, flyers, and other things, you will be able to inform and advertise your company online.
  6. Adds Credibility - Your customers expect you to have a website for your small business. It shows that you are serious about your product, or service, and that you really want to make contacting your business easy. Today many people require a company to have a website before they buy there product(s).
  7. Easy to Update – With written material, such as brochures, you have to spend a lot of money to update them. If information changes, you will need to throw away all of the flyers and brochures that you have made, and print brand new ones. The internet is much simpler. With just a few clicks, and a little bit of typing, you can change your information within minutes.
  8. Won’t run out of Room – With traditional methods of printing, you have to constantly worry about how much space you are using up. You have to make sure that you’re not using too many pictures, or too many words. You have to go through many double checks, to make sure that everything you write fits on the page(s). Websites do not have this limitation. Most websites have certain storage space limitations, but they give so much space that this isn’t a big problem. You can create hundreds of web pages, and each webpage could be many printed pages long. This will give you enough room for all of your pictures, testimonials, etc.

Creating a small business is the most valuable thing that you can do for your company. It can save you thousands of dollars, and could possibly make you millions of dollars of extra sales.
